Expanding on our beautiful Earth Compendium set, we designed this fillable ceramic palette to house even more colours (now 24) still in our favourite sleek black tin. These single pigmented, artist-grade paints are each handmade in small batches and carefully poured into our little ceramic pinch pots. These paints are, as always, a love letter to artisanal craftsmanship and sustainable artistry.
This extended compendium of earth and mineral colours contains all the originals - Yellow Ochre, Gum, Mars, Red Ochre, Sienna, Indigo, Lapis Lazuli, Rosado, Mortum, Terra Rosa, Wanganui, Orchard, Viridity, Buff, Avana, Rebel, Midnight, Mangrove, Soil, and Earth along with an additional four Orange Ochre, Azurite, Slate and Huntsman.
Each of these colours is crafted unising only our 100% natural watercolour binder and pigment. The ratio of pigment to binder is higher than most makers, and so these colours go a long way with just a little touch. They are always free from fillers, extenders and chemical preservatives.
Each tin comes complete with our gorgeous golden brand mark on the lid, a labelled name card and some beautiful thick handmade cotton rag paper for you to swatch the colours inside the lid. This set is ideal for plein-air painting, or simple for those that want the most natural and earthy paints avaliable. This set does not come with the mixing palette present in the other earth compendium option because this palette is much thicker. The palette contain approximately a mini pans worth of each paint. The palette is crafted from light tan speckled clay and glazed white. It is refillable, should you finish the paints and wish to reuse it.
Due to the ultra handmade nature of this product, small imperfections may be present which remind you they were made one by one with love. We don’t consider these flaws of the product.
