This set of bright and fun colours is designed specifically for PLAY. It was inspired by my new eBook on building a creative habit that lasts through mindful creativity and free tutorial on Patreon encouraging new and seasoned artists to reintroduce or remember to include creative play in their practice.
As such these colours are all very textural and fun, they separate and granulate and are perfect for bold mark making, fluid style art and washes. You can of course use them for any more traditional painting as well, but they are great for letting the colour do the work making them especially wonderful for those just beginning their watercolour journey.
There is 8 handmade watercolours in this set, all exclusive blends unique to Ruco. The colours are called Seaweed (L, O, B, G), Coffee (L, SO, B, G), Moringa (L, SO, B, G), Swirl (L, SO, B, G), Clown (L, T, B, F/S), Happiness (L, T, B, F), Moonglade (L, SO, B, G/S) and Aretha (L, SO, B, G). They’re filled in a light tan speckled paint pot and as always a labelled name card and swatching card is included. The set is housed in a gold rectangular tin and sealed with our brand mark on the lid.
I truely believe we are all innately creative, and we just need to learn to harness it. This palette goes out with that intention. As a handmade product small imperfections may be present which should be embraced as a gentle reminder of their handmade nature.
