This one of a kind upcylced vintage tin houses 24 of our richest earth and mineral pigments from across the globe. Pure pigment is only mixed with 110% natural binder to create incredible quality watercolours free from chemical preservatives and fillers. These single pigmented, artist-grade paints are each handmade in small batches and carefully poured into our handmade ceramic speckled palette. These paints are, as always, a love letter to artisanal craftsmanship and sustainable artistry.
This extended compendium of earth and mineral colours contains all the originals - Yellow Ochre, Gum, Mars, Red Ochre, Sienna, Orange Ochre, Indigo, Lapis Lazuli, Rosado, Mortum, Terra Rosa, Azurite, Wanganui, Orchard, Viridity, Buff, Avana, Slate, Rebel, Midnight, Mangrove, Soil, and Earth and Huntsman. The ratio of pigment to binder is higher than other paints, and so these colours go a long way with just a little touch.
The set is complete with a labelled name card and some beautiful thick handmade cotton rag paper for you to swatch the colours inside the lid and reference. This set is ideal for plein-air painting, or simple for those that want the most natural and earthy paints available. The palette contains approximately a mini pans worth of each paint. The palette is crafted from light tan speckled clay and glazed white. It is refillable, should you finish the paints and wish to reuse it.
Due to the ultra handmade nature of this product, small imperfections may be present which remind you they were made one by one with love. We don’t consider these flaws of the product.
